2014 marks the official release of this personal and professional website. Here you will find updated and comprehensive information about my scholarly work, including the various scientific texts I publish, as well as information on my teaching and my work as an editor and reviewer. The webpage functions as a sort of continuously updated curriculum vitae, but will also offer (irregular) blog posts. These blog posts are intended to give insight into my various scholarly activities, such as articles being published or conferences attended, but may also include comments and analysis of the research frontier, as well as salient trends in the transforming mediascape in general or for specific industries. While I am fully aware of the growing expectations of media researchers to stay tuned with a multitude of social media, I have deliberatively decided to encourage personal communication via e-mail/phone (see contact details) rather than by offering multiple social media accounts to follow. My reason is that with anything I set out to do I wish to perform wholly-hearted, and for now I have set my priorities to scholarly writing and teaching. However, this does not stop me from tapping into the pool of data offered by social networks, listening to conversations and getting notified about important events.
