New journal article published in YOUNG

SAGE journal YOUNG has now published Media Life of the Young in vol. 22. (1). This article was co-authored back in 2012 with a dear friend and colleague, Jakob Bjur, now head of research at TNS-SIFO but formerly at JMG. We have built further on the concept of Media Life by dutch professor Mark Deuze,  applying his to empiric work of how young Swedes (9-16 years) use mobile devices, Internet, gaming and television. 11th World Media Economics and Management Conference – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, May 2014

This weekend I was excited about receiving the verdict of peer-reviewers on my submissions of full papers to the bi-annual conference to be held in Rio. 3 out of 3 papers were accepted. I am happy to co-author with Mathias and Seth, and will be glad to see all good scholars of media management and media economics in Rio. Open lecture at the Folk och Försvar/Society and Defence Rikskonferens 2014

      From January 12-14th 2014 Folk och Försvar/Society and Defence organizes their annual Rikskonferens. This is without doubt the most important and influential conference on security and defence in Sweden, and attracts top oliticians, ministers, authorities and media every year. This year the conference attracted around 300 participants, including our Royal Majesty the King, and was kicked off with speeches by our prime minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and also the Finnish President Sauli Niinistö.  I was truly honoured to enter stage
